Online fundraising is an easy, free way to expand your sales force. Customers can purchase items from our online store, just like they would from the traditional paper catalog. You make the same 40% profit on their purchases! Online orders are shipped directly to the customer – you don’t worry about handling any money or re-distributing any products!
ONLINE SALES ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
Upon receiving your fundraiser contract, we will enter your school name into our website. Your school will then be included in a drop down menu on the [STUDENT SIGNUP] page. Your students simply go to the signup page, select your school from the menu, fill out the required information and are ready to collect profit from online sales.
After registering, students will receive an ID#, along with 2 confirmation emails that include their account ID#, a sales link URL that also contains their ID#, and an example email letter that can be sent to friends and family. This information is crucial for the success of online sales and is explained in detail below.
MAKING PROFIT FROM ONLINE SALES
Making profit from online sales is incredibly easy. Our online store requires that a student ID# or fundraiser name is entered into our system in order for a purchase to be made.** Supporters shop from our online store and enter your student ID# – you get the profit from the sale!
**Customers are provided the ability to credit your fundraiser the following ways:
- Customers manually enter a student ID# when prompted at checkout
- Customers select from a list of active fundraisers in a drop-down menu that’s also provided when prompted at checkout (This option ensures a school credit but not an particular student. For this reason we highly encourage that students always include their ID# in any request for support so they can make sure and get the credit they deserve!)
- A customer is brought to our website by clicking a student’s sales URL, which automatically inputs the student’s ID# into our website. Customers can shop after clicking a URL link and will not be prompted to enter an ID# or fundraiser at checkout; the sale is automatically routed to the student’s account.
MARKETING YOUR FUNDRAISER ONLINE
There are a few key ways to conveniently market your fundraiser on the internet and direct people to our online catalog:
- Facebook/Twitter/MySpace share links
- Phone call, flyer, or word of mouth
Students can copy and paste their sales URL into emails, social network posts, blogs, etc. Anything purchased after clicking a sales URL automatically processes to the student’s sales account – customers simply click, and shop! Imagine the amount of people your music group can quickly reach with the power of online social networks!
Using emails to ask for support
Emails are a convenient way to personally ask someone for support. Simply send a message with your sales link included, and whomever receives your email can simply click the link and purchase products.
NOTE: We have done much of the work for you to send an email! When a student registers for an online sales account, we send a confirmation email that includes a sample letter text. This email also includes the student’s ID#, and the student’s sales URL. The sample text can simply be copied and pasted in the body of an email, and then modified to be more personalized.
Marketing with Facebook/Twitter/MySpace share links
Share icons are located at the top right of each page of the website. Clicking an icon will share the current web page on whatever social network that you click.** After clicking an icon, you will be instructed to login to your social network account. You can then create a personalized message asking for support, and post the link to your profile page or send it as a personalized message to specific people.
Your link will direct people from your social network to whatever page you were on when you clicked the share icon. Also, if you login to your online fundraising sales account before posting a link, your ID number will automatically be put in our system when customers click your link. So customers can just click, and shop!
IMPORTANT: Always include your ID# in any messages!

Giving out your ID# by phone call or word of mouth
Anyone can go to our website and support your fundraiser, as long as they have your ID# to input at checkout. A phone call to a friend, strategically placed flyers, or simply telling your neighbors, coworkers, and peers can be enough for people to visit the site.
