As an 18 year verteran teacher of public school instrumental programs, I have developed a keen eye for what works and what doesn’t work when fund-raising for kids. When I met Brent and saw Karen’s artwork, I knew I was dealing with a fellow artist – a kindred spirit, not a “sausage salesman.” The heart of the matter is what makes all the difference for me – Brent and Karen fully understand that it costs money to create opportunity for our kids, and if the process of creating the opportunity is sharing art, you can’t help but be in a win-win situation. Aside from the beautiful artwork and the quality of all the products ArtStrings offers, the dedication and loyalty of the hearts behind the art is what makes this company stand high above it’s competition. The time, thought, and effort that has gone into the creation of this company is genuinely for the kids – the ones who will benefit the most from this. You can see that in the artwork, the website, and the generosity of Karen and Brent. I cannot recommend the products or the company highly enough. They offer a glimmer of hope at a very pivotal time in music education funding today.
